Three scholars. One pandemic year.

The 2020–2021 school year was filled with uncertainty for students around the globe. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we are proud of these scholars' resiliency — and excited to spotlight the winners of our 2020–2021 scholarship.

Nahzire West

Booker T. Washington HS

Four-year letterman in baseball, named Captain all four years. Dual enrollment, L.E.A.D. Ambassador, HOSA Debate Team, Student Government. Launched his own apparel line — already a sought-after product among his peers.

Trinity Lewis
Class of 2021

Henry Grady HS

4.0 GPA and four-year captain of girls' basketball. Served on Atlanta Public Schools' Equity Board, leading development of the system's first documented equity policy. Volunteer with No Place for Hate. Reviving an abandoned park as a youth outlet.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate HS

Nearly a 3.5 GPA, KIPP Varsity Cheerleading, KAC Dance, Dolce Dancing Diva Club. Teen volunteer for City of Refuge, Mt. Vernon Baptist server, teacher's assistant, Goodwill volunteer — and runs a successful clothing business on top of it.
